Missouri CLAIM is the official SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) provider in the state of Missouri since 1993. This provides free services to the people of the state of Missouri to get clarifications. As this is a voluntary service, the people get unbiased and best available policy information unlike from an agent.
CLAIM is the acronym for “Community Leaders Assisting the Insured of Missouri.” This is a non-profit organization which provides complete service ensuring the confidentiality of the counseling sessions.
About 250 volunteer counselors are available in the state to help people understand and sign up for the Medicare better in their communities.
In order to see that the volunteers provide only authentic information, they are trained and certified initially before they are made available to provide counseling. Experts from both the CMS and CLAIM train with both latest and comprehensive information about various parts of the Medicare.
Those who like to participate in the training sessions to become eligible for volunteer may ring the number 314-516-5974.
